The App menu

The App menu is how you move around OpenClips once you are signed in. Its rows, top to bottom:

  • Create opens the composer, where you make a video or an image.
  • Explore is the home screen: ready-made ads in Marketing Studio and ideas to start from.
  • Community shows videos other members made, with their prompts.
  • Library keeps everything you made, under Creations.
  • Director is a chat that plans and makes a video with you. Your past chats are listed under the menu’s rows.

On a computer and on a phone

On a computer, the App menu is a sidebar on the left. Press Collapse the menu at its top to fold it to icons, and Expand the menu to open it again.

On a phone, the App menu is a drawer. Tap Open menu at the top left to slide it in, and tap a row to go there. Create opens a full-screen composer.

The top bar

On a computer, the top bar shows your balance in credits, with Top up beside it. Press the balance to see your credits left, your plan and Usage & billing.

Upgrade opens the plans, where you can change your plan or top up. On a phone, the top bar keeps one button: Upgrade or an offer while there is one for you, otherwise your balance. Your credits are always on the card in the App menu.

Your Account menu

The card at the foot of the App menu shows your name, your credits and your plan. Press it to open the Account menu:

  • Your name opens your profile.
  • Invite & earn opens the invite card on your profile.
  • Manage account opens your settings.
  • Sign out signs you out.

Before you sign in

Signed out, the top bar has Sign up, and on a computer Sign in too. You can still look around, open Generate and write a prompt. OpenClips asks you to sign up when you press Generate.
