Remove the free-plan mark from one video

The short answer

In your Library, press ⋯ under the video, then Remove watermark, and pay once for that video. The watermark comes off that one video, and no credits are used.

Before you start

What you need

  • A finished video with the OpenClips watermark, in your Library.
  • A card to pay with.

Who can use it

Every plan: Free, Starter, Creator, Pro and MAX.

Models marked with a lock unlock with your first purchase.

Only a video that carries the watermark has Remove watermark in its menu.

That is what making a video costs. Removing the watermark is a payment for that one video, not credits, and the payment box shows its price before you pay.

Steps

  1. The video with the watermark, ringed in your Library.

    Find the video

    Press Library in the App menu, and find the video under Creations.

    On a phone: Tap Open menu, then Library, and find the video under Creations.

    Press ⋯ under the video, then press Remove watermark.

  3. Remove the watermark, with Pay ringed.

    Pay once

    Remove the watermark shows the price for this one video. Enter your card and press Pay.

  4. Download it again

    When the payment is confirmed, the watermark comes off in a moment. Press Download on the video to save the clean file.

What you get

The same video without the watermark, in your Library.

Tips and limits

  • The watermark comes off only the video you paid for. Your other videos keep theirs.
  • Every video watermark-free, at the foot of the payment box, opens the plans.

If something goes wrong

  • Remove watermark isn’t in the video’s menu: the video has no watermark.
  • The payment box says the removal is unavailable right now: close it and try again in a few minutes.

Questions

Does it take the watermark off my other videos?

No. Only the video you paid for comes clean, and your other videos keep theirs.

Does removing it cost credits?

No. It is a one-time payment for that one video. No credits are used, and none are added.

Can I remove the watermark from every video?

The payment box has Every video watermark-free, which opens the plans. You can also compare plans.
