Before you start

What you need

  • A link to your product’s page, or a few photos of it.
  • An OpenClips account on a plan that includes Marketing Studio.

Steps

  1. A UGC ad open, with its three steps.

    Open a UGC ad

    On the UGC ads page, press an ad. Its example opens, with three steps to make your own: Product, Presenter and Video.

  2. Your product, with a product link pasted and Add product ringed.

    Add your product

    Under Your product, paste the link to your product’s page and press Add product. OpenClips reads the name and the photos from the page.

  3. Who presents it, with Use my own face and an AI presenter.

    Choose who presents it

    Under Who presents it, press Use my own face to be in the ad, or Or let an AI presenter do it.

    Check the script and press Generate

    Under Your video, the composer holds the ad and your product. The script is written for you: press Edit script to change a word. Then press Generate.

    On a phone: Tap Write my line. The composer opens with the ad and your product. Tap Edit script to change a word, then tap Generate.

What you get

Your UGC ad: a creator talking about your product. It lands in your Library under Creations.

Tips and limits

  • To pick another presenter, press Change beside the one you chose.
  • Every ad on the UGC ads page opens the same three steps. Try a few with one product.

If something goes wrong

Questions

Do I have to write a script?

No. A UGC ad writes its own words. To read or change them, press Edit script in the composer.

Can I be the person in the ad?

Yes. Under Who presents it, press Use my own face. You take three photos once, and your face can star in every ad after.

Can I make one on my phone?

Yes. The steps are the same on a phone, and the composer opens full screen when you press Write my line.

Which plan do I need?

A plan that includes Marketing Studio. See Templates and the plan they need.
